Student Advisors to the Chancellor

Neha (nay-ha) is a third-year double major in Genetics & Genomics and Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies. She is guided by her dedication to the UC Davis community which supports her and pushes her to continue striving towards excellence and justice. For two years, Neha was the co-STEM coordinator at the Women's Resources and Research Center where she tailored programs that promoted gender equity and provided support for people in fields that historically exclude gender minorities. She also works in a neurogenomics lab where she is part of a team striving to further understand neurodevelopmental disabilities and substance use disorders. Her perspective as a student integrated in science as well as feminist intersectional studies allows her to better understand barriers and curate a supportive environment for everyone. In her free time, she enjoys painting, getting coffee, and printmaking.
